The Little School Thanks the Community

The holidays are upon us, and The Little School wants to say "thank you" to our community helpers. Beginning the week of November 15th (next Monday) we will have visitors from the fire department, police department and emergency medical services. They will come and serve us with their knowledge on how to be safe and what they do to help us. There will be various sessions in the course of the week all in the morning beginning at 9:00 AM . Our visitors will visit each classroom in the yellow building for the educational sessions. The following week on Wednesday, November 24th (the day we release at 11:30), the emergency vehicles will visit our school, and all of our classrooms will have an opportunity to visit and explore the trucks.

In addition, TLS will be saying thank you to our community by being a Toys for Tots drop off site, and we would encourage each of our families to consider this opportunity. We will have a "box/barrel" located in the administration building where you enter, and you can deposit a new, unwrapped toy for a child in need. We expect to continue the Toys for Tots campaign through Friday, December 3rd. Details are still being determined, so keep posted for updates in the next few days. If you have any questions about the event or would like to help, please contact Wendy Vavrousek (wendy@thelittleschool.net), Katie Little (katiemoylan@aol.com), Leigh Anne Weisenfeld (laweisenfeld@gmail.com), or Sara Houston (shoustonemtp@gmail.com).
