We are busily building all over the school. Mister Jim kept us all enthralled this week as he constructed our new rock sculpture garden and truck ramp. We watched him and learned about all of the tools he used and we especially LOVED the drills!!! We were all very sad as the projects came to an end and the tools go back into the toolbox. So... Mister Jim is creating a new TO DO list so that the kids can observe more construction.
The two unfinished buildings are also busily coming to a close. We had jack hammers working earlier in the week digging holes and this week the concrete contractors filled them in. The plumbers, electricians, and security folks are also on-site this week. Next week will bring us carpenters with finish walls and even a little drywall towards the end of the week. We are moving right along.
A reminder that concrete walkways will be installed on the courtyard and in front of the school on Wednesday, November 10th and Thursday, November 11th. Please look for Mister Jim and Miss Mary out front wearing construction gear. They will direct you to the proper route to your classrooms.
Finally, another reminder that the photos will be in from Big Star Studios on November 15th.
